ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Christian, a statistician by accident and an agnostic Christian by faith. I love traveling, teaching, programming, eating, juggling, playing the drums, cats, music, and sharing simple moments with friends and family. I wouldn't say I like studying a lot, but I love learning. I hate to take notes, but I love captivating speeches.
I love teaching, and it is one of my true passions. Besides, researching it is a sweet-and-sour pleasure. Any outcome can make it worthy. I do prefer to work at night until 3-6 am. Silent is my best partner. I love doing research and teaching since, through those two activities, it's possible to inspire others to do the same. What’s more, life as a researcher also allows traveling frequently.

I love statistics. It is handy everywhere (when it is well-used, of course). Statisticians nowadays are highly required in the industry, and it is one of the top 3 best-paid careers in first world countries.
In Ecuador, where I come from, we have very few professionals for such high demand. I might describe myself as a data scientist just to sound fashionable, but I rather prefer to be called a "simple and boring" Statistician.
